Magazine review: RT Vol. 31 #3 (Summer 2009)

I’ve had thsi one for a while.  In fact I finished reading it back before the pools closed down before Labor Day.  I just didn’t get around to doing a review before now.

Of course, it is the usual high quality that we’ve come to expect from RT, the official magazine of IPMS/Canada.  I will say that I am amazed that IPMS/Canada can consistently get such good material from its members.  The priniting and graphics quality might now be just a touch below IPMS/USA’s Journal, but content-wise, it is a dead heat, and keep in mind that IPMS/Canada has one tenth the members of IPMS/USA.

In this issue. there is a good article on building a Ju-52 that was used in promotional flight back in 2000.  There is also a good article on Johnnie Johnson’s Spitfire markings as well as an excellent article on rigging antennas on aircraft.  All in all, another good issue from the Great White North.
