This issue dates back to September of 2009, which means I got it at the bookstore or hobby shop in October 2009.  As I have said many times before I review these when I get around to it and they are out of order.

Being the Spetember 2009 issue, it is the 60th anniversary of the beginning of WWII, so the issue features a lot of stuff on the Polish campaign.  The feature article is on the PZL-11 fighter, though the accompanying build is of the 48th scale kit of the aircraft.  For the 72nd modeler it has an article on a collection of aircraft in 72nd scale that have been used by the Polish air force.  It also contains a build of the 72nd scale Fine Molds Bf-109G that was captured and used by a Polish RAF squadron.  The issue also contains a report on the IPMS/USA Nationals that were held in August.  Pretty timely reporting!  I have noticed that SAMI is starting to have editing issues, with a number of errors creeping into copy and captions.  I hope this isn’t a trend.
