Just FYI
While McDonalds in China is just like McDonalds in the States in most respects, there is one important difference. Here in Guangzhou, the Spicy McChicken sandwich is about 1000% spicier than in the U.S. Be warned.

Sorry for the light posting
I have been in China and access to WordPress behind the Great Firewall has been spotty. More on that later. For now I have access, so I am going to try and get some posts up.

Family history
UPDATE: It appears that the top item in the photo is a Peaked cap badge and the lower item is a Luftwaffe Civilian Employee badge.
It turns out my father had two cousins who fought in WWII. (More on that as I learn more.) They sent back to my Uncle items they picked up during the war. My Unlce has given these items to me. I am trying to learn more about what they are. Here is a photo of the first piece.
