Story here.  This indicates to me that these folks, who are well connected, see something coming and they want to hedge against the coming problem.

Keep an eye out

This part of the world is a flash point, and the Chinese seem intent on pressing against what they see as weakness by the other interested parties.

Great Badger Air Brush service

Four years ago (man, I cannot believe that it was that long ago) I got a new Badger Velocity airbrush to go along with my Badger 150.  I enjoy using it as much as I enjoy the 150, perhaps even more.

Badger offers a great service that I have taken advantage of before.  They will refurbish or recondition your Badger airbrush for free.  You only pay to ship it to them and pay a nominal fee to have them mail it back.  I mention this because I’ve just shipped both brushes off to them again.  If you have a Badger airbrush, I encourage you to take advantage of this service.

Honesty in government

It appears that the rank and file bureaucrats in our federal government have chosen sides.  This is a horribly bad development for our democracy.  Once it happens then one side or the other will no longer see the federal government as legitimate.  I think we all know where that raod ends.

Magazine review: SAFO Vol. 37 #1 #145

It always provides a lift to my spirits when I go to my mailbox and see a SAFO waiting for me.  While the magazine is still in black and white, it is always filled with interesting articles and information.  Where else will one find a multi-part article on Mexican Air Force serial numbers from the beginning to the present day.  This issue also contains a story that I was unaware of, the Argentine Air Force using a C-130 as a bomber during the Falklands war and successfully bombing a freighter carrying supplies for the British.

As always, I recommend joining the Small Air Forces Clearing House if you have even a slight interest in aircraft of the world’s smaller air forces.

Actually, this is sad.  However, you just can’t help feeling a bit of joy when others wake up to cold, hard facts as you knew them all along.  TANSTAAFL.
