Some ancient medicines apparently do work
An interesting story. I wonder if this will cause drug companies to look back in the historical record?

Sprue Cutters Union (April 2015)
Rarely is a Sprue Cutters Union post so easy to answer. Two years ago I would have had to think long and hard about a response. The question; “What is your stress free build?” The easy answer for me is any of the modern Airfix kits. These very nice kits, with low parts counts, low prices and easy assembly are what I work on when I want a “stress free build” Of course, there is still painting and decals and masking, etc. However, given the cheap price of the kits, I don’t really worry about messing one up. If you haven’t built one, try it.
Amen, Amen, Amen!
An important read.
Every word of this is true, and IMHO it is the biggest problem with the government today. If it is not addressed, I predict that it will lead to some very bad results.

Resin engines in 72nd scale
These look very nice on the website. Have any of my readers had any experience with them? Are they as nice as they look?
Japan makes a counter move
Deploying their largest ship since WWII. While this is interesting, I would watch to see what they do in subs, anti-missile technology and if they move to acquire Harriers or F-35Cs.
WWII story
This is a neat story. Glad to see the vets getting their stories out before we’ve lost them all.

El Salvador mystery
This photo is from the November 1944 National Geographic. Can anyone tell me what the aircraft is in the photo?
