Sprue Cutters Union (April 2015)

Rarely is a Sprue Cutters Union post so easy to answer.  Two years ago I would have had to think long and hard about a response.   The question; “What is your stress free build?”  The easy answer for me is any of the modern Airfix kits.  These very nice kits, with low parts counts, low prices and easy assembly are what I work on when I want a “stress free build”  Of course, there is still painting and decals and masking, etc.  However, given the cheap price of the kits, I don’t really worry about messing one up.  If you haven’t built one, try it.

  1. I always like a cheapie to work on, they seem to work well and as you say the stress levels just drop off.
