People wonder why I live in such a small, nowhere kind of place. Part of it is by design, and what’s currently playing out in our urban areas, aka “hell holes” is on of the reasons I live where I do.

Also, and don’t ask me to quote the case, year, etc, but decades ago there was a SCOTUS ruling stating that the police were not responsible to keep individual citizens safe, but just society at large. *WE* are each responsible for our own protection, and as a result, I am an uncompromising 2A supporter.

Yes, there have been several Supreme Court decisions that say the police are not liable if they fail to keep you from being a crime victim.
