The recent stock market shenanigans
The article is the best take I’ve seen on the recent goings on in the stock market. A lot of folks in business and government need to wake up. There is a revolt brewing.

An interesting legal question
Do the police need a warrant to track someone who is mooching off someone else’s wireless internet service? A case of first impression.
BTW, a very good reason to password protect your wireless router.

The problem with the internet…
is that it provides people an opportunity to say really dumb things. This is an example. Never thought I would see anyone in “the media” arguing for curtailing our First Amendment freedoms.
UPDATE: OMG, this guy is a law professor. Why does that not surprise me?

The downside of the Internet
I love the internet. In fact, I am so use to it, I can’t imagine how we ever got along without it. However, it does have a few downsides. One of these is that people seem to think that anything they see on the internet can simply be copied and used without attribution.
Here is a prime example. Rick Roberts simply copied and pasted into his own blog the work of another, claiming it as his own. The original was the work of the genius of satire, Iowahawk. Here is the original on Iowahawk’s site. This is simply wrong. Rick Roberts should be ashamed. Even after being called out, he has refused to take down the post or give proper credit for it. Shame!
