Poland

US armored troops are in Poland for a training exercise.  A good move IMHO.  A show of force may make the Russians think twice.

Moving NATO units into Poland and the Baltic republics.  I personally think this is the right thing to do.  I don’t think Putin is doing anything but bluffing, but I think it is smart to show that we are taking things seriously.

Looks like a Brexit may happen

More and more of the politicians seem to be coming out for Brexit.  Since they usually shift with the wind, I have to think that is a good sign.  We may be seeing the beginning of a preference cascade.

And now the Poles may be headed in the same direction.

The Poles as arms exporters

Even in Cold War times, Poland had an indigenous arms manufacturing capability and exported arms on a small scale.  Now, Poland is starting to export arms in the post-Cold War environment.  Interesting development.
