A lot of the information surrounding hypersonic missiles is just hype, but I did want to at least note this.

Even though they are officially retired, apparently several F-117s are still flying , being used as aggressor aircraft out at Nellis.  Story here.

I love this story so much.  Can you imagine being one of the Iranian pilots?  You’d need to go home and change your flight suit.

A-4

I really like the A-4.  It is a cool little hot rod of an aircraft.  I particularly like it in its aggressor role.  I’ve always wanted to do the aggressor that had a MiG-17 silhouette painted on it.  That means I will need this.

One of the real needs in 72nd scale aircraft was for a new kit of the C-130 family.  Thanks to Zvezda, we are apparently going to get one in 2020.  Details are sketchy, but this is a hopeful development.

A talk by the USAF Chief of Staff talking about having the F-22 and F-35 communicate and share information with the X-37B.  Of course, as the article notes, this raises the ever-present question of exactly what the X-37B does and what sort of sensors it has that could share useful information with the fighters.  Something fascinating is going on with thee X-37B.  I just hope that one day we know what it is.
