I had never considered this.  It has an interesting tie-in to WWI and WWII camouflage.   I could see this becoming a fashion trend among both hipsters and anti-government types.

A couple of interesting articles comparing the Japanese and Chinese navies.  Here and here.  I am convinced that this is one of the areas where a regional war, or even a general war could break out.

Every time I read a story like this……

I recall this line from the Declaration of Independence. “He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.”

Bad news for southern Maryland

Story here.  I go by this plant when I drive to my in-laws house in Indian Head. The area can ill afford to lose these manufacturing jobs.  Seems like the state government shot themselves in the foot.

Ouch.

Man, this was expensive.  I cannot imagine the insurance fight that is going to take place on this claim. Remind me not to fly to Tripoli.
